Chapter 3 _______________________________________________________________ Installation

1. Open the barometer cover by taking out the four cover screws.
2. Insert the power supply wires and signal wires through the cable
bushing in the bottom of the barometer; see the grounding
instructions in the previous sections.
3. Connect the RS-232 user port cables to terminals RxD, GND and
TxD. For more information about the RS-232 connection, see
section, Serial Line Communication, on page 68.
4. When wiring RS-485 module, relay module or additional analog
output module, see sections RS-422/485-1 Interface Module on
page 46, Relay Module (RELAY-1) on page 43, and Analog
Output Module on page 42.
5. Connect the power supply wires to the connectors:
POWER 10 ... 35V (+) and (-) terminals.
6. Turn on the power. The indicator led on the cover is lit
continuously during normal operation.
7. Close the cover and replace the cover screws. The barometer is
ready for use.
WARNING
Make sure that you connect only de-energized wires.
NOTE
If you have chosen the external power control option you have to
remove the wire between "Power control" and "Power +" -terminals
prior to using the power control feature.
